Following the recent success of the “ifa excellence awards” a number of IFA practitioners and executives raised the fact that there was no specific event for IFAs to get together and network, whilst discussing ideas and issues relevant to this important sector of the financial planning landscape.
As a consequence Peter Burns (Head of Distribution, Midwinter) enlisted the assistance of Aleks Vickovick (ifa Magazine) to establish such an event.
Importantly, this is not a Midwinter event, nor an ifa Magazine event, rather it is an event designed for and driven by ifa practitioners and executives.
You will decide how often the event recurs, what the forum going forward will be, what the topics for panel discussions will be and how the outcomes are pursued.
We hope you can join us at the inaugural IFA networking event to kick off this initiative and help design where we take it from here.
Who will be there?
IFA practitioners, heads of IFA and boutique dealer groups, IFA B2B suppliers as well as IFA representative associations.

Orient Hotel, 89 George Street, The Rocks Sydney
Wednesday 8th Oct 2014, 5 to 7 p.m.
We anticipate this networking event to be held every quarter.
